Finding a job is one of the biggest hurdles immigrants face when settling into a new country. Pathways to Employment Success is a project dedicated to helping immigrants in Vorarlberg gain meaningful employment, aligning their skills and aspirations with the needs of the local job market. This project is vital not only for individual success but also for the economic growth and diversity of Vorarlberg.

This project will fund:

  • Resume & Application Workshops: Organizing sessions where immigrants can learn how to create professional CVs, cover letters, and job applications tailored to Austrian standards.
  • Interview Preparation: Hosting mock interview workshops to build confidence and help immigrants navigate cultural expectations during job interviews.
  • Skill Enhancement Programs: Offering training to upgrade skills or learn new ones that are in demand in Vorarlberg’s job market.
  • Job Matching Services: Establishing a database of local job opportunities and connecting employers with qualified immigrant candidates.
  • Career Counseling: Providing one-on-one sessions with experts to help immigrants identify their strengths and plan their career paths effectively.
  • Language Support for Work: Facilitating basic German language classes focused on workplace communication to break language barriers.
